Tuesday Nighter, 6:00pm Knockles Crossing, call Austin Tricyclist for directions, 494-9252, A group 36 miles, B group 27 miles, these are training races with mostly bike racers (not triathletes) so be prepared to ride in close quarters and not on aero bars in most instances. Meet at Austin Tricyclist at 5:00pm to ride out to the "Tuesday Nighter"....this ride is from March-October only

Saturday morning "ATC" Ride.. or "Tri Ride".. or "Shop Ride" -- starts at 8:30am, distance varies (25-50 mi.) and usually splits into groups according to ability and fitness level. Fun and friendly! All abilities welcome. Starts at Austin TriCyclist (512-494-9252)


Running
RunTex (472-3254) sponsors training sessions starting at 5:45pm South Store @ 422 Riverside. The workouts are free and accomodate all levels of runners. Mon. and Wed. workouts are for the more advanced crowd. Tuesday and Thursday are beginner/intermediate level. There are lot's of other options at Runtex for training. Call em up to see.

Sunday morning 7am underneath the Mopac highway and Town Lake at the Town Lake trail. Parking lot by Austin High School/Tennis Court. Look for large group of runners milling around here. Austin Triathletes/Austin Runners Club group up there. Don't be shy! Ask who's doing what because this group splits up to various distances. Long group usually does the "scenic loop" which is 12 miles. Others might go 4-7 miles on the hike and bike trail.
